This page explains how Growth Stock Investor articles are produced, kept current and corrected, and the rules we follow to stay independent.

What we publish

We publish educational articles about growth-stock investing: concepts and definitions, valuation methods, strategy and risk management, and sector and theme guides. We write for self-directed investors who want to understand how growth investing works.

When an article discusses specific companies or funds, including in our “best of” lists, they are examples chosen to illustrate a theme or a framework. They are not personalized recommendations.

How we handle figures

We avoid precise figures we cannot stand behind. Where a number is likely to change, we present it as approximate and dated, and we ask you to confirm the current figure before acting on it.

Updates and corrections

Every article shows a “Last updated” date. We revise articles when the facts behind them change, for example a company going public, a fund changing its fees or a product being renamed, and update the date when we do.

If you spot an error, please tell us through our Contact page. We will correct it and update the date. When a correction changes a key fact or conclusion, the article will say what changed.

Independence and conflicts of interest

No company, fund manager or service pays to be covered on this site, and no one outside Growth Stock Investor sees an article before it is published. If we ever publish sponsored content, it will be labeled as sponsored at the top.

When an article contains links we are paid for, it says so at the top and labels each such link “(Ad)”. Our Affiliate Disclosure explains how that works.

What we don’t do

• We don’t give personalized investment, tax or legal advice. Growth Stock Investor is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial planner.
• We don’t issue price targets or trading signals, and we don’t run a stock-picking service.
• We don’t accept payment to cover a company, fund or service.
