MONROEVILLE, Pa., Dec. 29 /PRNewswire/ — PDG Environmental, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PDGE) announced today it has concluded its acquisition of the operations of American Environmental Abatement Corporation (A.E.A.C.), a Phoenix-based asbestos abatement contractor. The acquisition is effective as of November 30, 1997.
Commenting on the acquisition, John Regan, PDG Environmental, Inc. Chairman, stated, “The acquisition of American Environmental Abatement Corporation and their established customer base will allow PDG Environmental to enter 1998 as a strong competitor in the growing southwest market. With increased bonding and marketing efforts, we expect the Phoenix operations to incrementally increase our revenues from 5% to 10%.”
